I think this photo was extremely well taken. Usually when someone photographs a tree, they focus on the leaves and branches, and you focused on the very bottom of the trunk. I think that since the part in-focus is so clear and detailed, it improves the overall sucess of the photo. I like how the colorful leaves were kept in the background, giving the photo more color
Melissa, this is a very good photo. I like how you could see the ditance but also there is selective focus. I think maybe you could have darkened the sun spots a little bit to take away the distraction so you go right to the part of the tree that is in focus. The bottom of the tree also has a lot of texture and it makes it really interesting. It kind of has a story about what you were doing. Great job.
